Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd (Botash) is a manufacturing company located in Sua Pan which produces soda ash and salt for application across a wide range of industries. A 50/50 partnership between the government of Botswana and a South African Company, Chlor-Alkali Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Botash conducts all operational activities from production through to marketing and sales of soda ash and salt across the Southern African region.
Botash owns an English medium private school, Flamingo International Schools (FIS) comprising of the Primary and High School. The school is situated in Sowa Town adjacent to the famous Makgadikgadi Pans. The school offers PSLE and IGCSE in the same campus. FIS prides itself of continuous excellence in both PSLE and IGCSE.
Reporting to the Human Capital Manager, the Headmaster oversees formulation and execution of Flamingo International Schools strategy and monitoring compliance to operational, and education standards both at PSLE and IGCSE. The headmaster is responsible for laying down the policies and rules of admission for students and ensure smooth running of the institutions.
You will have all round leadership skills, exceptional communication and negotiating skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision making at the highest level.
You will have a degree in Education Management or equivalent from a recognized professional institution. You will have at least 8 years’ post qualification experience of which 5 years would have been gained at a senior management level within a successful school environment.
